Our Four-Legged Staff Members

Pippa
Hi My name is Pippa and I want tell you how AWESOME I am! You see, while most English Bulldogs spend their days sleeping - I go to work with my mom and help her socialize other dogs and model for puppies during our Puppy Pre-School class, showing them how to be good boys and girls -I LOVE PUPPIES! I also have a really important job helping my mom as a demonstration dog for "Be A Tree" bite prevention program each summer at Safety Town. When I'm not at work, I love to chew on nylabones, take golf cart rides and paddleboard with my mom.

Ro Ro
Hello, Ro Ro is my name and playing catch is my game. There is nothing I would rather do than chase my orange ball and you should see how fast I am. I love my job because while other dogs are learning, I get to play ball and serve as a distraction for them. You should also see all the tricks I can do, I like to demonstrate them during advanced class so that other dogs can learn to be as talented as I am. I am a Belgian Malinois mix so I LOVE TO WORK but when I do get free time, I love to go swimming with my little brother Cobb and spend time camping with my family and dog friends.

Cobb
Hello World, Cobb here! Like my sisters Pippa and Ro Ro, I am also a staff dog at Home Away From Home. Don't be fooled by my size or distracted by my good looks, I am one mighty dog and I strut my skills proudly when I work as a distraction dog during obedience lessons and advanced class. I am very sociable and loved by pretty much everyone that meets me. When I'm not working I love to play fetch with my little sister Cannoli, learn new tricks (because there are usually lots of treats involved), take nature hikes and go swimming with Ro Ro.

Maya
Hi Everyone, my name is Maya and although my fur is red, most people that know me joke and say it should be blonde. You see, typically I am in a world of my own - I love to play with my little brother Arlo but I have just as much fun playing by myself and tossing my toys around the house. I am as sweet as a good dog cookie and I am such a good listener for my mom and the other trainers. When I am at work, my carefree personality helps me work with other dogs that have food aggression and struggle with distractions.

Avery
Hi, I'm Avery and if you ask around you will find out I am one special girl. Besides being beautiful, I am also very talented. My mom is a trainer at Home Away From Home and she needed a dog to help her work so I came to the rescue and agreed to be her staff dog. I have a brother at home named Bufford that I love to play with but if you ask me, I am much more talented than him. When I am at work I love to show off how happy I am and all the cool obedience commands and tricks I can do. Sometimes we have dogs that need some extra help understanding that other dogs like me are nice, so I am always happy to show off how friendly I am. When I get home from work at night, I love to steal my brother's toys and make him chase me around the house.

Feonna
MEOW and let me introduce myself, I am Feonna the only Staff Cat here at Home Away From Home. While all the dogs are busy drooling, I am busy ruling the Training Center. You see, lots of dogs in this world love to chase beautiful cats like me so it's my job is teach them how to make better decisions. Most cats love to run, but not me - I like to show them who's boss. People are amazed at how confident I am and how quickly their dogs begin to make better decisions around me and other animals. In my free time, I love to take naps and play with my catnip toys.
